Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day with a NATURE WALK IN DAVIDSON: Saturday, June 13, 9:30am to 11am, in Davidson. Take your family outdoors and discover wildlife in our woods and wetland as we search for butterflies, birds, salamanders, and anything else that crosses our path! Rob Van Epps, birder, naturalist, and president of Davidson Lands Conservancy, will lead us and Matt Shaw, recently co-leader of our Rocks outing in April, will help with the activities. Wear sturdy shoes as we’ll be on a dirt trail in local woods and a wetland. Hopefully we’ll have some great photo opportunities so consider a bringing a camera.
This outing is open to children with their families, with a minimum age of 4 years. No strollers or dogs please.
